Kenneth Ballwin is a 40-year-old motivational speaker. He travels around the world speaking at seminars on how to reach your highest potential as an entrepreneur. Kenneth has written several books on becoming a business owner as well as how to grow your business. Occasionally, Kenneth is invited to speak at private events. Three years ago, at the age of thirty-seven, when Kenneth was speaking at a private event, some of the ladies were very aggressive with the event staff members when they were not allowed to personally socialize with Kenneth after the event was over.  Mark, the event planner knew that Kenneth was having marital problems and did not want the ladies to bombard him with questions that wasn’t pertaining to the speaking material. Kenneth had informed Mark that he would not be available for Q and A once he leaves the podium because of his public marital problems. He stated it was due to women coming up to him after events wanting to get to know him personally after his separation from his wife went viral on social media. The event planner hired security guards to help with the aggression his staff was receiving from the women. After security escorted Kenneth to his car, they noticed a lady in a white car following behind him. One of the security officers quickly starts a video using his phone of the car with the lady inside following behind Kenneth. A copy of the video was forwarded to the event planner.

Mark, the event planner calls Kenneth the next day to see if he was okay and had made it home safe. Kenneth tells the planner that he believes a woman from the event follow him home because after he arrived home and was entering into his parking garage, a woman jumps out of a white car and tried to run into the garage before the door closed. Kenneth noticed this same woman was trying to get into his building as he had stopped on the ground floor to check his mailbox. Kenneth expressed that he was relieved that he had move out of the family home into a condo after going viral on social media. He did not want these women to become a threat to his wife and kids or knowing their address. The event planner told Kenneth about the video before forwarding him a copy; he then suggested to Kenneth that he hire private security to escort him to and from speaking engagements until things calm down with the women. Before hanging up the call with the planner, Kenneth thanks him for his call and said he would consider his suggestion. The next week, Kenneth had an out-of-town speaking engagement. He thought about what the event planner, from his last speaking engagement, had suggested to him. He minimized the suggestion after convincing himself, the only place he has problems with aggressive women is in his hometown. After departing the plane and picking up his luggage, Kenneth was happy to see a chauffeur holding up a sign with his name on it. It had been a long day, and he wanted to rest before studying his notes for tomorrow’s seminar.  During the seminar, Kenneth noticed a lady often standing for long periods of time as he was speaking. Normally at his seminars, Kenneth would walk among the attendees to ask a question; he would give the person raising their hand a mic for all to hear the reply to the question. Because Kenneth recognized the woman who was standing, he asked one of the event staff to walk among the attendees with the mic and to only give it to the person he points out. As the seminar was coming to an end, Kenneth informed the attendees that he would have tapes and written material in the back for sale. Kenneth informed his assistant; he will not be personally signing books or any items sold at the seminar. The assistant looked surprised because Kenneth always engaged with the attendees after the seminar and always personally signed each book sold. Before heading to the back room after the seminar, Kenneth took out his phone to review the video sent to him from the event planner at his last private engagement. The video confirms the lady standing during the seminar was indeed the same lady, in the white car, that followed him home. He became concerned. Kenneth remained in the backroom until the event planner staff had informed him all guest was gone. Kenneth had a brief meeting with his assistant before packing up to leave. He informed his assistant of the incident at the private event. He also informed him that the same lady was among the guess; therefore, he wanted all staff to be careful as they exit the venue. He promises to hire private security for the remaining scheduled seminars on the calendar. Two male staff of the venue walked with Kenneth to his chauffeured car. As Kenneth was getting in the car, he noticed the same lady was getting into a cab. He was grateful he had arranged for a chauffeured car to pick him up from the airport, as well as take him back to the airport to catch a redeye fly back home.

Kenneth wasn’t sure how the lady in the white car knows his whereabouts. She is now Stalking him everywhere he goes. She shows up at places his staff doesn’t have knowledge of. He was wondering if she had placed a tracking device on his car. Kenneth went to the police to see how they could assist him with this stalker. Because the license plate on the video isn’t legible and Kenneth do not know his stalker name, there isn’t anything the police could do. One night after drinking a bottle of wine, Kenneth was expressing his frustration to a friend on the phone. “Man William, states Kenneth; this woman has totally changed the way I move in life. It has been two years since she started stalking me and I haven’t been on a date or had a woman in my bed.” That sucks shouts William. How are things going with your wife? Does she know about the stalker? “Yeah man, I called her to inform her why I haven’t come by the house to see the kids. She has her cousin John bring the kids to my place to visit with me. I fear being seen in public with my kids because I do not want this woman to harm my kids.” What makes you think this woman would harm you or your kids, asked William. “I don’t know what this woman is capable of. It’s obvious to me something is mentally wrong with her. Who in their right mind stalk someone for two years?” Is the woman attractive? “Man William, what does her being attractive have to do with anything? Yes, she is a very attractive girl. That’s what makes me feel she must be mentally challenge. A woman with her looks can easily get a man. Instead, she is wasting her time and life following me around” Kenneth, did you ever considered that maybe this lady has a false perception of love and thinks what she is doing is showing you love? “Oh, hell Naw William; you are trying to tell me that this woman could be in love with me.” Yes, that is what I am saying. She never tried to hurt you. She just shows up everywhere you are. “Man, if you are right, the way I feel right now, I would give her something to go crazy about. I have all this pin up sexual tension. So how am I to find out what her true intentions is towards me?” Tomorrow is Saturday. How about I pick you up for a day at the gym. If this woman shows up, I will simply ask her reasons for following you around. “That sounds good William. I need for this to end. I want my life back to normal.” Okay, Kenneth, I will pick you up at 11:00am tomorrow. “All right William. I will see you tomorrow.” Kenneth and William end their phone call. Kenneth spent the rest of the evening lying in bed fantasizing about the woman becoming his lover.

As promise, William arrives at Kenneth condo at 11:00am. They were in the gym approximately twenty minutes lifting weights when the stalker walks pass them then turns around to stare at Kenneth. Kenneth whisper to William; “that’s her, the one in the pink sexy body suit.” William approaches the stalker. “Hello, my name is William.” Hi William. “My friend tells me you have been following him around for over two years.” “Is that’s all he told you about me? States the stalker.” “Yes, that’s all he told me. He doesn’t know you to tell me anything other than you are stalking him.” “Oh, so is that what he calls it?” “You tell me, what should he call it. Why do you follow him around?” “I am in love with him.” “If you are in love with him; why haven’t you approached him or his staff to introduce yourself?” I have tried to approach him. Each time he sees me, he runs or his staff have security block me from approaching him. “Well, he is here at the gym without security and your way of introducing yourself is to walk pass him, then turn to just stare at him. How is that trying to get to know someone personally?” “I am shy when it comes to speaking to someone for the first time. Usually, I stand and stare at the person as I am mentally encouraging myself to speak to them. I was about to speak to him when you approach me, states the stalker.” “What is your name?” My name is Jasmine. “Nice to meet you, Jasmine. Let me ask you a personal question; I need you to be honest with your answer. I am looking out for my friend. Let just say; today I am his security. The question is: have you ever been hospitalized for mental illness or restraint against your will for a mental illness evaluation?” William, I am not mentally ill. I might do things oddly different from how most people behave; however, this doesn’t make me mentally unstable. To answer your questions more directly; I have never ever been hospitalized or restraint against my will for mental illness or mental evaluation. “Okay, Jasmine, let me introduce you to my friend. William asked Jasmine to wait where she was until he goes to talk with his friend. William informed Kenneth of the conversation he had with Jasmine. He tells Kenneth that he doesn’t feel that Jasmine is a threat to him. Kenneth agreed to meet her.

William goes back to Jasmine to escort her over to Kenneth. William introduces Jasmine to Kenneth. Jasmine holds out her hand to shake Kenneth hand as she says hello. Jasmine immediately begins to apologize to Kenneth for following him around for over two years. She stated that she did not know he defined her behavior as stalking until William called her a stalker. Jasmine tells Kenneth that she is a fan who has attended his seminars and other events he spoked at for years. She admits, her thoughts of him and her becoming a couple spiral out of control when she read on social media that he was separated from his wife. In her mind, she was trying to beat the other women to him. She thought if she wore bright sexy outfits to his seminars, he would notice her. When it didn’t work; she decided to stand at the seminar to get his attention. Looking back on her actions, Jasmine realized she looked like a mentally ill person. For these reasons, she apologized again to Kenneth. Kenneth accepts Jasmine apology. He was so happy this nightmare has come to an end. Kenneth and Jasmine exchange phone numbers. They talked on the phone every day for a week before Kenneth invited her over to his condo for a glass of wine. Kenneth and Jasmine fantasies are now their reality. They are officially each other’s lover.
